Sacred Storytelling As Connecting to the Land

An afternoon, riverside retreat, in Taos, New Mexico.

Allow your own story to be told, develop deeper earth intuition, offer blessings to the land, and share in the community of a Sacred Storytelling Circle.

In this afternoon retreat we will explore how the way we choose to identify ourselves creates a dialogue with the earth, and how storytelling exists in the ecology of our fractal universe.

We will:

• Workshop on building our identity as a community member and caretaker to create our “sacred introduction”, so that we are never a stranger to the land.

• Create offerings to share with the land we are graced to hold ceremony on.

• Work with the Plant Spirit Medicine of Earth Essences to open our field of perception towards the communications and stories of the world around us. Connecting to our intuition, listening, and communion with nature through a guided meditation.

• Journey through the cycles of nature by means of the ancient practice of poetry.

• Share in a Sacred Storytelling Circle about your experiences, intuitions, and creations.

• Potential journey to hot springs afterward, if there is group interest.
